Kairos at Belfast Bible College

In 2013 Belfast Bible College (BBC) invited the Mission Agencies Partnership (MAP) in Northern Ireland to run Kairos as an introductory week for their new students. This proved such a success that in 2014 the invitation was extended to include a weekly Kairos course as part of BBC’s popular autumn Access Learning Programme, open to church members across the province. Both Kairos courses are now a regular part of the college curriculum. Numbers have averaged around 20 on each course, with a good percentage signing up on personal recommendations from previous participants. Impact on the lives of those students who have done Kairos has been noticeable, particularly evident in their ongoing focus on cross-cultural mission.

We are grateful to both BBC and MAP for this ongoing partnership.

‘The Kairos course totally changed my view on how we should do missions. It has allowed me to consider how we cross cultural barriers and that God can move in any culture. It has also reminded me how important prayer is as the driving force behind it all.’
